WoW Introduction
Unless you have been locked in a closet for the last 6 years or so you probably have heard of the online game called World of Warcraft (WoW), which is increasing in popularity and fanbase as we speak. That may not be news to most of us, but have you ever stopped to look at it or wonder what it is that draws so many people to play it?
Does It Ever End?
No is the short answer, but you can manage to set goals for yourself that you can get to. The Name says it all, it is quite literally a world. Some people I have talked to have played from months to years and have still not seen many areas of the game. There are professions that you can do in game (leatherworking for example), endless quests, raids to accomplish, and scenery that will remind you of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.
Should You Play?
Well at first it was hard to grasp why one would want to play a game that never ended, but after spending some time playing you really start to pick up on the value of it. For instance, what if the game you liked to play when you were younger was still going? You could get Mario new gear, or have new adventures for Zelda. If this appeals to you then you may like starting to dive into WoW where you can create and manage a character of your own choosing for as long as you feel like. If you happen to know anyone playing they can invite you to a free trial via email in the WoW recruit a friend program.
